Freeman French Freeman seeks a mid- to senior-level Project Architect to join our team in Burlington, Vermont. Perennially ranked as one of America’s best places to live, Burlington is a small but vibrant city surrounded by natural beauty, open spaces, and unlimited recreational opportunities.
The Project Architect is an essential team member responsible for the design and creation of project documents across a wide range of project types. This person will work under the direction of a Principal or Senior Project Manager and will contribute to all phases of design. They will help produce documents for client presentations and construction, participate in client meetings, and collaborate with consultant teams across multiple disciplines.
Our ideal candidate:
• Is a licensed architect.
• Has a growth mindset and 8+ years of production experience in design and BIM document preparation.
• Is fluent with Revit.
• Is familiar with LEED principles. LEED AP certification a plus.
• Has a strong working knowledge of codes and permitting.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a collaborative environment.
About FFF
We offer competitive compensation with full benefits including health insurance, a 401k retirement plan, profit sharing, flexible vacation and sick time, and a dog-friendly office just two blocks from Lake Champlain. This is an in-person position at our Burlington office with some flexibility for remote work. The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000, plus benefits.
