Allied Professional Members

Allied Professionals are non-architects affiliated with the architectural profession and join AIA Vermont using the above applications. Examples of those eligible for Allied membership include consultants, builders, contractors, engineers, real estate professionals, interior designers, landscape architects, photographers, attorneys, manufacturers, distributors, service providers and anyone else who works with or hopes to work with AIA architects and other AIAVT members.

Reciprocal Members

As of 2021, AIAVT no longer requires reciprocal membership in order to be eligible to submit for the AIAVT Annual Design Awards. AIA members from other chapters can submit projects built in Vermont at the AIA member rate. Please see the AIAVT Annual Design Awards Call for Submissions for details (released annually in early September).

AIA members from other states and components can apply for AIAVT membership using the Reciprocal Membership form. Reciprocal members are typically architects who are not located in Vermont but work on projects based in VT. Reciprocal membership entitles the architect to submit VT based projects to AIAVT’s Annual Design Awards.
