Architect/Architectural Designer

Are you looking to join a medium sized architectural practice with a high-level of opportunity to express your ability to design, collaborate, and construct? We are a 9-person architecture firm, and we are looking for a creative thinker/detail tinkerer to join our design and construction document teams in the next few weeks.

Our three-partner practice focuses on commercial, health care, educational, and multi-family projects. We work in small two- or three-person project teams and offer you the ability to take on as much problem-solving responsibility as you can handle. We value a collaborative design process and recognize good ideas come from everywhere. We value human experience in and around buildings and addressing energy and carbon use. We like working with people and understand they are the center point of successful projects.

We need someone who wants to help develop design concepts and create drawings that tell the design story to clients and the construction details to contractors. Experience on the construction site is favorable, understanding of how buildings get built is a must. Previous experience is preferred but we’ll consider your professional curiosity and ambition as well. We would like you to be interested in building science and best practices for air and moisture management.

We use Revit to produce our drawings, so if you don’t know it now, we hope you are ready to learn it.
