We are pleased to share that David Epstein, AIA – Principal and Education Studio Leader at TruexCullins – has been appointed to the State Aid for School Construction Advisory Board by the Vermont Legislature’s Committee on Committees.

This newly formed Advisory Board, established under Act 73, is tasked with guiding the Vermont Agency of Education in implementing the State Aid for School Construction Program. The Board will help shape statewide priorities, develop criteria for project approval, and make recommendations for funding and project selection.

David joins a distinguished group of eight appointees, including representatives from the State Board of Education, the Vermont Bond Bank, and school districts across the state. His appointment reflects his long-standing commitment to improving educational environments and his leadership in advocating for equitable school construction funding in Vermont.

David has worked extensively with public school districts throughout the state – including Winooski, Orleans Central, Taconic & Green, Harwood, Addison Central, Milton, and Central Vermont Career Center – and has been a driving force behind efforts to reinstate a statewide school construction aid program. His involvement in the passage of Act 72 and the commissioning of a statewide school facility evaluation underscores his dedication to creating healthy, high-performing learning environments for all Vermont students.
