AIAVT Welcomes New Members
AIAVT Welcomes the following new members:
Tate Agnew, AIA Assoc.
Tate Agnew, AIA Assoc, recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. A Burlington native, Tate has since returned to Duncan-Wisniewski Architecture where he previously interned the past two summers and now works full-time as a Designer. Tate is eager to impact the built environment in his home state and contribute to projects that strengthen Vermont’s communities while he continues to grow as a designer in pursuit of architectural licensure.
Matthew Reed, AIA
I’ve been dedicated to Vermont my entire life. Raised in Essex Junction, I was inspired by my grandfather, a local developer, and discovered my passion for design watching him help shape his community. I earned my M. Arch from Norwich University and began my career at Wiemann Lamphere Architects, where I grew into the Architect I am today. In 2021, I joined AES Northeast, advancing to Partner in the Architectural Division. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my wife and dogs and serving my community of South Hero as the Assistant Fire Chief and EMT.
