Exhibition in the Usdan Gallery celebrating the 50th anniversary of the visual and performing arts complex.
At 7:00pm, former architecture faculty and alumni will form a panel discussing the history and importance of the complex.
The exhibition will trace Ward's journey, studying with Gropius at Harvard, Konrad Wachsmann at Chicago, and developing building systems with SOM and the SCSD project in California. He collaborated with Cedric Price on many projects, including the Fun Palace in London. The gallery exhibits include design drawings and renderings as well as a large scale model of the 120,000 sf complex.
