AIAVT’s Outreach Programs

AIA Vermont won a national grant to create a mobile outreach, education, and design center from a 21-foot 1969 Airstream Globetrotter. Follow the transformation process and its programs.

The Learning By Design program is comprised of volunteer architects educating students in grades K-12 utilizing hands-on curriculum based architecture and design activities.  By involving children in community based design projects, Learning By Design VT enables children to actively shape their world.

Canstruction is also an adaption of a national program which uses donated non-perishable foods to create structures and sculptures in a design charrette competition.
