Updates for Emerging Professionals on ARE Testing

AXP/ARE DURING COVID-19

A few reminders to folks reporting AXP at this time. All remote hours are valid. As long as your supervisor knows what you're working on you can report these hours. NCARB suggests reporting more frequently if you are remote, to keep the employee/supervisor relationship strong. All other AXP reporting guidelines remain in effect.

Additionally, NCARB has instituted several changes to accommodate ARE testing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Visit the link below to read more about rolling clock extensions, rescheduling fee waivers, Prometric test center procedures, and more.

NCARB LAUNCHES NEW REMOTE TESTING

Beginning in December NCARB has plans to institute the ability to test remotely. With this they plan to release updated ARE Guidelines, ARE Handbook, and a new demo exam (available through your NCARB record), so be on the lookout for those.
