AIAVT's President, Andres Gutierrez is aiming to host a trip for our members to Colombia in early 2027. The immersive 10-day proposed architectural tour will explore the dynamic evolution of contemporary architecture in Bogotá and Medellín, Colombia’s two most vibrant cities for design innovation and urban renewal.

A virtual information session was held on June 18th to provide an overview of the trip, including sites we'll visit and what travelers can expect while in Colombia. 

The proposed trip includes:

• Dates: April 16, 2027 – April 25, 2027 (10 days)
• Destinations: Bogotá and Medellín, Colombia.
• Travel: Flights depart from Montreal, Canada (guests will travel from Burlington to Montreal on a private coach).
• Accommodation: Nine nights in deluxe hotels.
• Included: Air travel and ground transportation, accomodations, nine breakfasts, one lunch, three dinners, private professional driver transfers, and architectural site visits.
• Exclusions: Gratuities, optional Medellín tours, and some meals.
• Pricing (per person): The projected cost for this 10-day trip is approximately $4,500-$5,500 per person
• Prices and itinerary are subject to change
