Going (to the) Green: AIAVT’s Golf Tournament 2021

With summer weather finally making its welcome appearance in Vermont, we are getting excited for our Annual Guy Teschmacher Memorial Golf Tournament, and reconnecting with friends and colleagues outdoors. We hope you can join us for the afternoon of Friday, August 20th this summer at Williston Country Club. Last year, this tournament was the only in-person event that AIA Vermont hosted. We sold every sponsorship, had a full roster of golfers, and were able to safely gather according to state guidelines. The event was a huge success, and we had a lot of fun seeing one another.

As you may already know, this tournament is our primary fundraiser for AIAVT's Scholars Fund. Your participation in this tournament makes it possible for AIAVT to award over $6,500 in scholarships to deserving students studying architecture each year, an important component of AIA’s mission.

The tournament’s scramble style makes the tournament accessible to golfers of all abilities, from beginners to pros. While for some it is a competitive tournament with bragging rights and prizes on the line, for many it is a way to get outside for a beautiful afternoon of fun and laughs with fellow architects, product reps, engineers, and friends. Lunch and dinner are both included.

Please reach out to tournament chair Catherine Lange (clange@ fffinc.com), or AIAVT Executive Director Sarah O Donnell (sarah.odonnell@ aiavt.org) with any questions. We hope to see you going (to the) green this summer!
