On a beautiful late-summer day in Williston, Vermont, members and friends of AIA Vermont gathered for the Annual Guy Teschmacher Memorial Golf Tournament. This beloved tradition brought together architects, colleagues, and community partners for a day of camaraderie on the course while raising funds to support the next generation of designers. The tournament was not only a chance to enjoy friendly competition, but also a meaningful opportunity to give back. Proceeds directly benefit AIA Vermont's scholarship fund, which provides financial assistance to architecture students, and thanks to the generosity of participants and sponsors, this year's tournament raised a significant contribution to help talented students thrive and enter the profession.

While the tournament is open to players of all levels, it is not without some friendly competition. This year, third place went to the Office Environments & ReArch team, second place was won by the BNJ Engineering team, and the Pella & DEW team took home first place. We had three Closest to the Pin contests, with Steve Kredell, Alec Carew, and Housewright Construction taking home prizes. The Men's Longest Drive was won by John McLeod, and the Women's longest drive was won by Jodi Ovens. Karl Bahrenburg won the 50/50 putting contest raffle (out of 18 contenders).  Congratulations to all of the winners!
