Location: Virtual
As our understanding of neurodiversity continues to evolve, architects and designers are recognizing the need to create environments that support a broader range of sensory, cognitive, and emotional experiences. Yet many conventional design standards still reflect a limited definition of how people perceive and interact with space.
This webinar brings together leaders from workplace, residential and interior design to explore how neuroinclusive design can move from theory into everyday practice. Through cross-disciplinary perspectives, the panel will discuss how architects can create spaces that better support neurodivergent individuals across working, healing, and living environments, ultimately enhancing well-being, usability, and inclusion for everyone.
Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the principles of neurodiversity, neuroinclusive design, and neuroaesthetics and their relevance to the built environment.
2. Identify how sensory, cognitive, and emotional factors influence the way people experience spaces across workplace, healthcare, residential, and community settings.
3. Apply practical neuroinclusive design strategies that promote choice, comfort, and well-being for a diverse range of users.
4. Recognize the role architects and designers play in shaping environments that respond to varied human needs and create more inclusive experiences for all.
