Join Efficiency Vermont expert, Steve O'Malley, for an overview of the Vermont Commercial Building Energy Standards.

Vermont's building energy standards, also called "energy codes", are regularly updated to make sure we are on track to meet our "net zero energy ready construction by 2030" statewide goal. On July 1, 2024 the newest updates to Residential Building Energy Standards (RBES) and Commercial Building Energy Standards (CBES) became effective. This session will review the new energy 2024 CBES, significant changes and updates, and options for compliance. There will be time to address questions on the 2020 CBES as well.

**If you're seeking AIA credit this is approved as course code VTCBES-1for 1.5 LU/HSWs. If you've already attended this course in the past, AIA is not likely to approve repeat credits.**
