Join AIA New Hampshire for a behind-the-scenes experience featuring two unique tours that demonstrate the power of off-site construction and adaptive reuse.
First tour: UP@310, Keene, NH, a transformative mixed-use redevelopment that breathes new life into an existing steel-and-masonry building. Learn how prefabricated bathroom pods, mass timber systems, and high-performance panelized building enclosures were integrated into the project to improve sustainability, occupant comfort, energy performance, and construction efficiency while preserving the value of the existing structure.
Second tour: Bensonwood's manufacturing facility to see how precision-crafted wall panels and other prefabricated building components are produced in a controlled environment. See firsthand how advanced manufacturing improves quality, reduces material waste, enhances building performance, and streamlines on-site construction.
Together, these tours provide a comprehensive look at the entire off-site construction process, from design and fabrication to installation and occupancy, offering valuable insights for architects, designers, builders, and industry professionals interested in the future of high-performance, sustainable construction.
