Proposals are Now Open for the 2023 Connecticut Architecture Conference + Expo
AIA Connecticut’s CACX'23 will be on October 25 & 26, 2023 at the Mystic Marriott in Groton!

In 2023, AIA Connecticut will be hosting the New England Architecture Awards as part of CACX’23. This is an exceptional opportunity for presenters to submit proposals for educational sessions, the cornerstone of the conference as registration will be open to all New England Component AIA Members

This 2 ½ day event will include 1 ½ days of continuing education, 2 Keynotes, and the New England Architecture and EP Friendly Firm Awards dinner. We are also planning site and recreational tours in the area on the 27th.

What a great opportunity to present your area of expertise and trends to the New England AEC industry , while helping architects earn required AIA continuing education credits. Presentations may be one or two hours in length. (two-hour spaces are limited).

Presentation topics of interest include (this is not an exhaustive list):
Design
Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
Materials and Building Performance
Sustainability/Energy
Technology
Topics exploring the architecture of Connecticut and the New England Region are also welcome.
Other subjects may be proposed for submission.

Proposals will be selected based on the following criteria:
Educational and informative material
Coverage of subject matter
Standards met for an AIA Continuing Education program (Sessions centering on Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) will be given priority)
Architects, Designers, Engineers, Planners, and Allied or Business Professionals are encouraged to develop and submit a program for consideration.

AIA Connecticut will submit accepted sessions for AIA CE credit unless it has prior AIA CE approval.

*Submission of a session through this form does not guarantee a spot in the CACX'23
