Efficiency Vermont and the Patricia A. Hannaford Career Center/PAHCC in Middlebury are hosting a series of 4 Residential Building Systems trainings this fall at the PAHCC campus in Middlebury VT.

There will be two sessions of each training: a morning session from 9:00-10:30 and an afternoon session from Noon-1:30

Moisture Management in Residential Wall and Building Assemblies will be presented by Steve Spatz from Efficiency Vermont on October 20th, 2026.

Effective moisture management is essential for building durability, energy efficiency, and occupant health. This session will provide a comprehensive look at best practices for managing both liquid water and water vapor within residential buildings, following fundamental building science principles, and referencing the latest requirements of the VT Residential Building Energy Standards (RBES).
