Living Building Challenge Practitioner Workshop
This workshop is designed for industry professionals looking to connect with motivated owners, contractors, designers, and engineers. Together we will develop strategies for incorporating the LBC into your current projects or discuss ways for integrating the principles into future projects. Throughout the day we will explore the institutional opportunities the Challenge provides while sharing successful implementation solutions employed in local New England projects.
This workshop will:
- Uncover what motivates owners to pursue the LBC;
- Integrate lecture, conversation, and workshop styles into a day of collaboration, learning, and robust discussion;
- Encourage participation from a diversity of professions to stimulate rich conversation through a multidisciplinary lens;
- Guide participants beyond the basics of the Challenge by sharing lessons learned and case study examples;
- Identify methods of incorporating portions of the LBC into your current and future work, and identify a path towards committing to full certification projects.
