Air to Water Heat Pumps – Technology Overview and System Applications presented by Steve Spatz. This training provides an overview of heat pump equipment technology for hydronic heating applications. This course will cover the types of air to water equipment available on the market, how the equipment functions and the differences between mono-bloc and split system types, as well as basic hydronic and hydro-coil applications for space conditioning and DHW applications. Learning objectives:

Recognize and understand the two different equipment types of air to water heat pump systems
Understand delivery options for distribution and DHW use with air to water equipment
Basic fundamentals for good quality distribution design that aligns with air to water equipment capabilities
Basic overview of hydronic distribution fundamentals
