This course will include both pre-construction and construction phases, the advantages of construction management and a comparison of CM to General Contracting.

At the conclusion of this course attendees will understand:

1) CM delivery model basics such as RFP process, responsibilities, and contract types.

2) the CM role in the planning, preconstruction, and construction phases.

3) the advantages of CM over other delivery models.

4) the differences between CM vs the GC delivery model.

Instructor: Matt Wheaton, DEW Construction

Matt manages DEW’s preconstruction services, from inception through successful GMP. He works with estimators, project managers, and superintendents to develop accurate pricing and logistics and identify unique challenges that allow owners to make informed decisions early in the process. As a member of the Management Team, Matt helps to guide DEW’s decision-making, strategy, and goals.
