Beyond Steel & Concrete - Utilizing Wood in Modern Construction

The Working Lands Enterprise Board Forestry Committee invites you to join us in Stowe on Friday, November 4th for a day of information and discussion on the use of wood in modern construction.  Architects, designers, engineers, and producers are all encouraged to attend!

Cross Laminated Timbers, glue laminates, and large timbers are opening new doors for utilizing wood as a key structural component of commerical and residential construction.  Conversations will cover a comparison of wood vs. steel, a review of consumer demands, and information from Vermonters who are creating and using these materials.

The day will end with more networking at the newly opened Bierehalle at the Trapp Family Lodge.
Stay tuned for more information and please share with your networks!
