The AIAVT Board of Directors is welcoming new members to join the board and serve in 2026. Join the team that helps to shape the future of Vermont's architectural community!

The AIA serves as the voice of the architecture profession and the resource for our members in service to society. It serves as the primary advocate of the architecture profession. To be that ‘Voice’ it is critically important to have engaged and active volunteers. AIAVT is actively recruiting willing participants to act as board members to assist with programs and statewide outreach. The AIAVT Board meets monthly, with the option of joining either in-person or via Zoom, and annually for one day-long retreat.

Eligibility: AIAVT Architect and Associate Members may serve on any committee and/or the board once approved to do so by ExCom. AIAVT Allied members, once approved by Excom, may serve on any of the above committees except for the Executive Committee. Allied Members may attend and speak but may not make motions or vote at any meeting of this Chapter. Allied Members are not eligible to serve as an officer or to chair a committee of this Chapter but may serve as ex-officio members of the Board of Directors of this Chapter, only as specifically allowed in Article 6 of the AIAVT Bylaws. There are two non-voting seats for AIAS Student members available each year.

Please fill out the Board Nomination Form by October 20th: forms.gle/rf4pXF1Fb9Gm2GtW6
