AIAVT-AIANH Meeting at Harpoon Brewery
It’s fall in New England! Harvest celebrations, country fairs, and festivals of many kinds abound. This year we're delighted to invite AIA Vermont and AIA New Hampshire members to join each other for an evening of revelry at the Harpoon Brewery in beautiful Windsor, Vermont, on October 19.
Fall is also a time for introspection. To that purpose, we are pleased to offer this engaging AIANH program: Positioning Architects for the Future. Our speaker is Emily Grandstaff-Rice, FAIA, Senior Associate, Arrowstreet, Boston.
As a frequent speaker and writer on the future of architectural practice, Emily is fascinated by how technology, the social economy, and environmental urgency are addressed in Arrowstreet’s practice. She will lead us in a thoughtful discussion to address these key questions:
What drivers will shape the future of the architectural profession?
What compelling value propositions can architects create? For which individuals, groups in society?
How will architects work? What tools with they use?
What road maps and actions can take us into the future?
Come, raise a glass to the season and to the promising future of our profession. Hope to see you there!
