The culminating event of Norwich University's 2018-19 Architecture + Art Lecture Series will be our Spring Symposium: Economic Diversity and the Built Environment. On Friday, April 5, a panel of scholars and practitioners will address the topic from multiple perspectives: Gina Merrit (Northern Real Estate Urban Ventures, Washington, DC), Alex Schafran (Geography, University of Leeds, England), Barbara Wilson (Urban and Environmental Planning, University of Virginia), Sarah Lopez (Architecture, University of Texas at Austin), and David Scheer (Minimum Viable Life, San Francisco, Calif.). The Symposium will run from 3 to 5 p.m.

In addition to the generous support of the Byrne Foundation, many events are further co-sponsored: Zughaib by the Interfaith Youth Core; Kornfeld by the Norwich School of Justice Studies & Sociology; Ruccolo by the Norwich French Program; the Symposium by the Norwich Center for Global Resilience and Security.
