Renewable Heating & Cooling with Hydronics, Retrofits and New Construction
Date: 5/22/19 7:30 AM
Future hydronic heating and cooling systems will increasingly rely on renewable energy sources such as heat pumps, and biomass boilers. The sources have operating requirements that are significant different from those of standard fossil fuel boilers. This session will discuss those requirement for geothermal heat pumps, air-to-water heat pumps, and biomass boilers. It will stress the importance of low water temperature distribution systems and show how to create them in both new construction and retrofit situations. It will present several overall system concepts for each of these heat sources that can be readily built around commonly available hardware.
Early bird price is $175 through May 6, $210 thereafter. Worth 5 AIA LU|HSWs.
